As we are planning on converting to new software, I would like to do what the majority of users would prefer.
Would you wish to register as a new, start the member base from scratch, or would you wish to have your current membership information be carried over to the new software?

Carried over please. I don't have much info here but I would hate to have to figure out how to put it in again. Thanks :?

carried. my current status is as comfortable as an old shoe with a hole in the toe. I hate breaking in a new pair.
if possible, only carry over those accounts that have been active in the last 6 months. get an idea how many ACTIVE members this site actually has.

You must have known that would be the answer. People fear change. Maybe you could convince them to not carry it over with custom titles so we don't have to be newbies.

We are officially one year behind. I had thought things would have gone a lot quicker. Its new software that we're going to switch too, and the conversion program took a lot longer to develop than we thought.
We are still going to be switching software packages, and the only information we should lose is file attachments and Private Messages. When I have the exact date of the switch, I will post a warning and let everyone know to save their PM's.
